Though some might argue it’s love, fear may be the most intense emotion ever. We always want to hold onto an intense love and prolong those feelings for as long as possible. Because it’s an awesome gift, the thought of losing that special connection can strike intense fear. Fear is equally consuming; however, unlike love, fear can cause long-term depression and despair. Best described, fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or is a threat.
Sweet, 10 month old, Miami is demonstrating concern and fear. This young dog wants to be happy, and trusting, but has experienced too much uncertainty on the streets. Additionally, it appears she was afforded a minimal amount of socialization prior to going astray. At present, she is decompressing and trying to analyze her surroundings in the shelter environment.
Our sweet girl needs to find her way back to her original owners, but if she doesn’t, Miami needs a hero. Someone that will move slowly with her and create a safe and secure environment, too. Patiently allowing her to grow her confidence will enable Miami to become the sweet girl she was born to be. Do you have room in your heart and home for this deserving pup?
