Most of us value and protect things that are precious to us. For some it may be a grandmother’s scarf or an heirloom handed down as a keepsake. For those of us whom value human interactions most, it may be vivid memories of time spent with an extraordinary friend or that special relationship you’re experiencing right now. Whatever your personal definition of “value and worth” may be, it’s clear that life’s gifts are packaged differently for everyone.
Riley is thought to be about three years old and is a 43 pound mix-breed girl. Full-grown and sometimes ornery, this sweet girl has fun energy but morphs into a lapdog beautifully. She gets along with children and other pets, too. We believe she’s going to be a great addition in her next home.
This kind dog longs for a home that will “value and protect” her as a family member for the rest of her days. After all, dogs should be thought of as a keepsake, too. Because she came in as a stray, she knows there’s a big world out there to investigate so containment will always be key to keeping Riley safe. This cuddle-bug has a lot of living to do. Will she be doing it with you?
