Pay It Forward For Pets - Chewy

They always have a story and it’s always their unique experience. Chewy is no exception …

Sweet Chewy is a purebred Yorkshire Terrier. He is thought to be around 5 years of age and weighs in at 15 pounds. At this size and weight, Chewy is quite healthy and sturdy for a small-breed boy.

Chewy was witnessed being left out of a car in front of Summit County Animal Control at 6 a.m. on 10.19.24.

The questions remain … was he found on the street and brought to the location in hopes that he would find safety there? Or, could he no longer be cared for by his family and left there with the hope that he would be found?

Whatever the reason, I think we can all agree that handling the situation in this matter could have led to Chewy’s demise. If there is a chance that his family is looking for him, we would love to reunite them. If nobody is coming for him, we would love to see him in a safe home where he is loved and valued.
