Bacon was rescued on a very cold February morning by a good Samaritan. She didn’t have to go far to help him, as he arrived, quivering in 0-degree temperatures, on her doorstep.
Immediately taken to the vet, he wasn’t chipped but needed some vetting. He received all his vaccines, medical tests, and was neutered within just a few days. After all, if he was going to find his family or if he was going to a new home, he needed to be prepared.
Thought to be 1 year old and weighing 57 pounds, this sweet boy is full-grown and considered medium in size. He knows commands, is potty trained, and is currently living in foster care. Bacon knows how to be a dog in a home.
Typical of a 1-year-old, he is a playful boy and obsessed with toys, but that’s expected—he’s just a pup!
