Meet Enrique. Coming in to the shelter nearly 6 months ago, in June, this boy is Summit County animal control’s second oldest resident.

At an estimated two years of age, Enrique loves life and is eager to have one. Surely, spending a quarter of his life (so far) in a shelter was not part of his plan and, now, he is ready to become the boy he was born to be.

Medium in size and weighing in at approximately 45 pounds, Enrique is people social and dog social, too. This boy is no gangster so don’t let that tough-boy look scare you. He’s a peach inside. It’s just the hat!

Enrique can become vocal when he is bored but we’d all be bored, too, if our home was a 4‘ x 4‘ cell and we were confined to it for the majority of hours each day. Imagine giving him a home for the holidays … imagine changing his life forever … and changing your life, too!
